Our guidelines for submissions:

As a freshly-minted publisher, we would love to take-on any and all projects thrown our way. But sadly, we do not have the resources to publish very many books at this time. That said, we do appreciate any submission sent and do encourage anyone with talent and a spectacularly unique, innovative, and/or interesting project on their hands to submit it to us.

Lead-Based Books mainly publishes fiction and poetry, but we also are interested in memoirs, autobiographies and biographies. But before submitting to us, know that we only accept fully-written and polished manuscripts. We will not take-on anything unfinished at this time. Thank you.

What to send in your query:

Please send an email to submissions@leadbasedbooks.com containing the following:

• Your contact information (name, email, phone number, and address)
• 2-3 paragraphs describing your book in great detail
• A PDF attachment of the first 10 pages of your manuscript

We will try to contact you about your submission within 2-3 months of receiving it. Regardless if we would like to move forward with publishing your project or not, if you send a query to Lead-Based Books you will receive an email back from us.
